ALLEN MONSON - (HE IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN) DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA
Everyone really enjoyed these hikes. They were gone for several hours and these pictures are just proof of how much fun they had. This was the first time Michael went to Goblin since before his mission. He loved it!

Camping at Goblin Valley
Hey Everyone! I know it is about time for me to update my blog. It has been a while. So here are some pictures from our latest camping trip to Goblin Valley. We had a great time! However, I did get a really bad sunburn on my face. I was all covered up except for my face and because it was so cold, I didn't realize I was getting burned. Anyway, my face was so swollen. My eyes were swollen shut on one morning. I am happy to say that I am pretty much healed now. But it was extremely painful. I will be more careful for now on. Along with my sunburn, Michael's friend (old mission companion) Allen Monson, had a wreck on my 4-wheeler. He is lucky to be okay. He walked away without a scratch. My 4 wheeler didn't fair as well. It has some scratches and bent bars on the front. We are just grateful that Allen is okay. Allen is also a diabetic and he had some dramatic moments when his levels got really high and then extremely low. But we all survived and I'm not sure we are inviting Allen on our next trip. (just kidding). We love him! Enjoy the pictures of the trip.

My Cousin Jolene
I just found out tonight that my 1st cousin Jolene has been diagnosed with Leukemia. This is so sad. They are giving her about 9 or 10 years to live and I pray that a cure or a miracle will take place before that so she will be able to see all of her children grow up and enjoy her grandchildren. She is only a couple of years older than me. We can't take life for granted. We can't take our health for granted. I guess we need to recognize the blessings we have today and always give thanks. We never know what tomorrow will bring. I personally have sooo much to be thankful for. I hope that all of you will take the time to recognize all that you have. My prayers are with Jolene and her family. She currently has a son serving a mission. I'm not sure where.

Church Ball
Can I just tell you how HAPPY I am to have Church Ball over and done with? Cameron's Deacon's team went undefeated. Troy was their coach too. They went to Region and won the first game and then lost the next two. They had a great time and Cameron really does love to play basketball. We are hoping that he will get some height in the next year. He is still one of the shortest Deacons/Teachers. He is a Teacher now. So, here is to a great year of Basketball and hoping that Cameron will gain a few or more inches over the Summer and Fall. That way he will gain more confidence and as he would say, "Totally Dominate" next season!
