BREAKING DAWN SPOILER

My friend Laura found this link on her friends blog so I thought I would steal it from her and share it with you. It's an article from Entertainment Weekly, and the spoiler comes from Stephanie Meyer herself. Click here to read it. It doesn't really spoil anything. The book comes out next week and I can't wait! I am half way through "The Host" and it is getting good. Wow, this lady is a talented writer. I can't wait for what comes next. (Thanks Laura for the alert)

CAMPING....YES, WE DID IT AGAIN....

DAY ONE: We have been driving in the car for over 2 hours and it was taking forever to find a camping spot and Mallory really had to go....So as soon as we passed a "Biffy" we had to stop. Even though she was scared to use it. But this was an emergency situation. She was much happier and (a bit grossed out).

Kobe was really enjoying the drive. He loves a chance to stick his head out the window.

Okay, I think it is expected to see a silly picture of Troy everytime we go camping. So here is the first silly one. He is getting ready to go fishing. The man just doesn't care..... Good thing I love him.

Day Two: Troy's Birthday!

Scott Smith getting ready to go to the lake with the rest of us.
He has a nice pair of kayaks.

Troy isn't near the lake yet but he wasn't taking any chances. He is keeping that life jacket on.

This is everyone driving off going to the lake to fish and boat and kayak. I was looking forward to a little quiet time so I could read. I am reading "The Host" and it is AWESOME!

Troy and his buddy Scott. Scott didn't catch a thing. :(

Randy Croall enjoying the lake.

Laura Smith and Beck. Notice Jake in the background swimming back with his stick...

Laura and Beck again and Jake wants to swim some more.

Aren't they adorable?

Cameron just came in from the water after tipping a kayak over in the water. He was freezing!

Beck Smith and Camden Schroepfer

Embarrassing Picture of Troy #2

Laura Throwing A Stick in the lake for Jake to fetch. Jake loves the water.

Beck Smith trying to see if he can have better luck fishing than his Dad. (Notice Schroepfer in the background fishing)

The Smith Boys: Beck, Jake and Scott

Justin Schroepfer doing what he loves. However, he got skunked again. The fish weren't biting for him this weekend.

The rest of us just relaxing. I'm trying to read but I get distracted easily.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TROY!

YEP! HE IS 45 YEARS OLD. We were teasing him about being half way to dead. Sad huh?

Kobe liked to snuggle with me by the fire every night with his blankey! I know he is spoiled. I admit it.

Troy is exhausted from his busy day. He is also officially over the hill....

We don't have pictures from the Friday or Saturday but some of the group went on a bike ride that ended up being the bike ride from &%*# (you know where). The trail they were suppose to be on turned out to be non existent. There were places where they had to carry their bikes down the hill because it was so steep. Wish I had pictures. They literally blazed the trail. Turns out the map they got the trail off of was made in 1989. Hmm. I guess they need to get a new map. We all came home on Saturday afternoon and not a moment too soon. We were all so filthy dirty from all the dirt and bug spray. But it was worth it. Good Friends + Good Food, = Good Times! Can't wait to do it again. (Not with the flies and mosquitos though).

Boring Blogger

Okay, I know I haven't updated my blog for a while and that is because there hasn't been anything to blog about....but after this coming weekend I should have some fun pictures and stories to share. We are going camping (except for poor Michael) and you know crazy things always happen when we camp. So be patient with us and hopefully I can get some embarrassing pics of everyone. We'll also be celebrating Troy's birthday while we are there. Happy 24th everyone and try not to burn anything down with your fireworks. :)

Michael's Camping/Hiking/Fishing Trip with Friends

Scott, Dave and Michael experiencing the Great Outdoors. Hiking, Fishing, and Camping. They also made themselves a little "leanto" (sp) to sleep in. Michael forgot to bring a pad to sleep on so he stopped and bought a pool floaty and put his sleeping bag on that. He said it was the best night's sleep he's ever had camping. They had so much fun and his friends are pretty good guys. They've been to Bear Lake with us and we are getting a little attached to them. They can be pretty crazy but they kept me laughing the whole weekend at Bear Lake. Come again guys if you can put up with us. :) Enjoy the pics from his little trip.

CAMERON HEADS TO SCOUT CAMP

Cameron left this morning for scout camp. Yay!!! He was excited to go and do all the hiking (not really). But he will have a great time and it will be an awesome experience for him. Gee, what am I going to do without him for 3 whole days? Hmmmm......

The backpack was about 5 pounds overweight
but it certainly looks heavier than he is.

BEST DAM BIKE RIDE FOR MS

Saturday, June 28, 2008

They did it and they had a great ride. No trauma or drama on this ride and we are so grateful for that. They all made good time too. Troy was in the zone and felt like he could have done another 30 miles but didn't. He stayed with the rest of the team. We are so proud of Team Bintz for their dedication to the MS cause and for helping to raise money to help find a cure to this debilitating disease that effects so many people we know and love. I've added a few pictures that were taken before and after the ride. WAY TO GO TEAM BINTZ!!! Take a few weeks off and start training for next year! Ha Ha. We love you all!
